The first week of Entrepreneurship Exploration, our teacher told us the goal of this Exploration. The goal of this exploration is to make a hundred of chili sauce by the end of this year and produce a marketable and scalable business plan to pitch to investors. We thought that was very incredible because we never have done it before. In a week we have different topics to learn and different projects to do. Most of the times we learned about business. In class we do not sit and take notes but we have different activities and games to help us learn about how to run a successful business with a plan and goals. Something that we learned about was many businesses struggle because they need money to start the business so they need to go to the bank to borrow money. At the beginning their expenses are high and not a lot people know about their business, so the product does not sell a lot, and most businesses operate at a loss for many weeks or months before they start to make a profit. Now we just start phase zero and trying to get to phase one. Some of the things that we brainstormed for our chili sauce business are to know what ingredients that we can used to make our chili sauce stand out and different from other chili sauces. One of the idea that make our product stand out is to write a story behind the chili sauce, and to use some famous Cambodian ingredients like Kampot pepper and Kompong Speu palm sugar. The other thing is to think about our products after we made it, what to do with it and some follow up questions to ask like who are our customers, consumers and where will we sell our sauce. By the end of the week we did a reflection to share how we felt and what we learned in that week. | |
